First 5 Friday - How wild can a symphony be?

Happy First 5 Friday! Here is a great way to start off your weekend as you READ, TALK and PLAY with your little ones!


READ: Start off your weekend as you read "Wild Symphony" by Dan Brown. You can also listen to this week’s book at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdYGwo1Qi84. If you were an animal, what instrument would you play?

TALK: Take this time to talk to your little one about music and what they think about "Wild Symphony" by Dan Brown.

Materials Needed:

  • Empty Long Tissue Box

  • 6 Rubber Banks

  • Markers, Stickers, Anything Your Little One Would Like To Decorate With

How to Make Your Own Guitar:

  1. Use your markers, stickers, and other decorations to decorate your empty tissue box.

  2. Slide the rubber bands over the hole in the tissue box.

  3. Strum away and enjoy the music!
