Happy First 5 Friday! Here is a great way to start off your weekend as you READ, TALK and PLAY with your little ones!

Chopsticks, Paper Straws or Popsicle Sticks
5 Different Colors of Markers
White Piece of Paper
How to Create the Thankful Game:
Separate your chopsticks, paper straws or popsicle sticks into 5 sections.
Color each section a different color.
On your white piece of paper, draw a circle with each different color and color in the circle.
Next to the color, use the black marker to write one thing to state that you are thankful for when that color is drawn.
Color 1: Name a food you are thankful for
Color 2: Name a thing you are thankful for
Color 3: Name a person you are thankful for
Color 4: Name an animal you are thankful for
Color 5: Name anything you are thankful for
How to Play the Thankful Game:
Have someone draw a colored stick.
Match the color of the stick to the color on the sheet of paper.
State what you are thankful for that goes with the description of the color.
